Lakeside offers several leisure and community building programs. Two such programs, both run by Lakeside Baptist are:

Women By Design which focuses on creating a sense of belonging for women where they are valued, encouraged and supported by each other.

Real Men which is a ministry that encourages the men of Lakeside and the wider community to become "Real Men", the men that God created them to be.

Seniors at Lakeside is a broad caring ministry which caters for the whole person - physical, intellectual, social and spiritual - and encourages seniors to lead fulfilled lives.

Lakeside Wreaders and Writers Group is a group interested in reading and writing.
