Lakeside Kids provides a safe environment that enables us to support families in the nurture of their children, as they are encouraged to explore a life following Jesus.
Sunday Kids
Lakeside Kids gather together in the upstairs Hub every Sunday of term, to learn about Jesus in a fun social environment, and discover what it means to follow Him. Lakeside Kids Church is where faith meets fun—every Sunday is packed with laughter, games, and exciting Bible adventures! We want every child to know that Jesus loves them big time, no matter who they are or where they come from.
Lakeside Kids uses the GodSpace Curriculum, developed by theologically-qualified education specialists. As the safety of our children is so important, the morning starts with check-in at our Registration Zone. We also ensure that our leaders have a current Working with Children Check.
CRECHE
Ages 1 – Kindy.
Our well-equipped crèche area offers a safe and positive environment where a caring team look after our youngest children.
EXPLORERS
Pre-Primary to Year 2
Each week, Explorers enjoy age-appropriate Bible lessons, games, and crafts designed to help them connect with God and one another. Whether they’re colouring, singing, or hearing a Bible story, your little one will have a blast growing in God’s love!
A typical lesson includes a welcome and short Bible story video or skit all together. The Explorers then have an object lesson about the Bible story, play a game, and do a craft.
NAVIGATORS
Year 3 to Year 6
Our Navigators are finding their way through the upper years of primary school. We aim to provide a fun and welcoming space for kids to make friends at church and grow in their faith, while reinforcing the positive message that God loves us.
A typical lesson includes a welcome and short Bible story video or skit all together. The Navigators then have a discussion about the Bible story and how it could apply in their week, before getting some energy out with games on the Basketball court.

Welcome to Lakeside Kids!
If this is your first time, please visit the registration desk at the front door, and complete a visitor registration form.
If you need help, please speak to a Kids volunteer- recognisable in their bright green shirts.
Kids stay with their families for worship, and then go upstairs to the Hub when announced.
If your child is nervous, you are welcome to stay and watch.
At the end of the service, please come upstairs straight away to collect your child.

During the Week
🎶 Do you have a little one (0-5years) that loves to dance, sing and play along to music?
Would you like to hang out with other parents/grandparents going through the same season as you? Then Lakeside mainly music is the place for you!
