Lakeside is seeking a Competitions Coordinator to be a key part of our competitions team to deliver excellence across all competitions and programs.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Competitions Coordinator, you will be a key part of the competitions team with Lakeside Recreation Centre that delivers program excellence across all of our Junior, Senior, Social, Women’s & Mixed basketball competitions throughout the week. Your role is to execute and support the day-to-day operations of the department and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Recreation Centre Manager and working in partnership with the Customer Service Manager, you will be a key member of the competitions team driving Lakeside’s competitions and programs.
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of Lakeside Competitions and programs.
- Provide excellent customer service, customer experience & communication to player, coaches, parents & the broader community.
- Implement operational systems, processes and workflows that improve efficiency.
- Oversee coordination of court controllers including recruitment, training and rostering.
- Coordinate with wider Recreation Centre team to deliver program excellence on Lakeside Programs including 3×3, Holiday Camps & Aussie Hoops.
- Work with other key staff to continue to develop the ministry/outreach focus of Lakeside throughout competitions and broader Lakeside community.
- Work in partnership with the Referee Coordinator to develop our referee program as part of the wider competition objectives.
- As part of the broader Lakeside Baptist Church team, you will liaise with other ministry areas including Church programs, Lightning & Fitness Centre to support the overall objectives of Lakeside.
