New season, new rules!

The 2026 FIBA rule changes are being introduced at Lakeside, including updates to fouls, technicals, player disqualifications and the act of shooting.

These changes will apply to our new seasons of Mid-week Seniors, Saturday Juniors and Saturday Seniors. All remaining competitions will adopt the new rules when their new seasons commence in 2027.

Whether you’re a player, coach or referee, take a moment to familiarise yourself with the changes before stepping onto the court.
